Advances in Silage Research

Silage is a major source of forage for dairies and feedlots to ensure a high performance of animals and to support a sustainable animal production all over the world. Currently, great achievements have been made in the basic and applied research in silage microbiology and biochemistry, developing novel silage inoculants, modulation silage fermentation for promoting animal production and health status, silage biosafety insights (mycotoxin, antibiotic resistance genes), environmental impact and industry utilization of silage, etc. This special issue is devoted to collect high quality, cutting-edge original research work or review papers in the silage related research fields.
