Diagram depicting the experimental procedure. Broiler chickens were fed experimental diets supplemented with increasing concentrations of ETY from d 1 to 14 post hatching. On d 14, the birds were re-randomized and separated into a challenge and no-challenge group. On d 15 post hatching, birds in the challenge and no-challenge groups were orally gavaged with 1 mL of Eimeria oocysts and 1% PBS, respectively.
