Effects of early-life galacto-oligosaccharides (GOS) supplement on growth performance of LPS-challenged piglets. Piglets were assigned to CON (n = 6), LPS (n = 6) and LPS + GOS (n = 6) receiving physiological saline, physiological saline and GOS solution for 13 d after birth, respectively. On d 14, the piglets in LPS and LPS + GOS group were injected with LPS solution of 80 μg/kg BW, while the piglets in CON group were intraperitoneally injected with the same volume of physiological saline.
