Equine bone marrow stromal cells were treated with 5% HS or 5% FBS and cell proliferation was determined by alamarBlue and 5-bromo-2'-deoxyuridine (BrdU) assays. Data are presented from the BrdU assay and similar findings were observed with the alamarBlue assay.
