Linear somatic cell score and quarter temperature of cows supplemented with a Saccharomyces cerevisiae fermentation product (NTK) or fed a control diet (CON) subjected to an intramammary inflammation challenge with Streptococcus uberis after 45 d of supplementation. Data are expressed as recorded measurement in the challenged rear right quarter, or as delta subtracting the values measured in the non-challenged rear left quarter of each animal. Different superscripts indicate significant difference (P < 0.05) between values and are reported when the interaction of treatment and time is significant (P < 0.05)
