Daily diarrhea score of weaned pigs fed diets supplemented with Bacillus subtilis. Diarrhea score = 1, normal feces, 2, moist feces, 3, mild diarrhea, 4, severe diarrhea, 5, watery diarrhea. Diarrhea score was lower (P < 0.05) in pigs fed the negative control diet, compared with all other diets from d 2 to d 10 post-infection (PI). No differences were observed in pigs fed with the positive control diets and the two diets supplemented with Bacillus subtilis. Each least squares mean represents 12 observations from d 0 to d 5 PI.
