The expression levels of DEGs related to fatty acid degradation or glycometabolism determined by qPCR in fast- (AA) and slow-growing (BJY) chickens. These genes are all involved in fatty acid degradation or glycometabolism. Each of these DEGs was significantly (P < 0.01 or P < 0.05) downregulated in AA chickens compared with its level in BJY chickens. Data are presented as mean ± SEM (n = 6)
