The mRNA abundance of ORM1 relative to cytokines in isolated adipocytes (Adipo) and stromal-vascular cells (SV). Cells were isolated from 21 d old pigs (n = 3 pigs) by collagenase digestion, filtration and flotation as described in the methodology, prior to RNA extraction and RT-PCR for relative quantification of adiponectin (adipoQ), ORM1 and tumor necrosis factor α (TNF). The mRNA abundance data are expressed relative to cyclophilin using the ∆∆CT method as described in the methodology. * Different from mRNA abundance in SV cells (n = 3; P < 0.05)
