From: Lysozyme as an alternative to growth promoting antibiotics in swine production
Campylobacter spp. shedding of nursery pigs fed either a control (non-medicated), control + antibiotics, or control + lysozyme diet for 28 days. Lysozyme, but not chlortetracyline/tiamulin in nursery swine feed prevented the normal increase in campylobacter shedding in the feces of nursery pigs. These data were adapted from Wells et al.
