  1. Adapted from Li et al. [50]. Molecular weights of intact AA were used to calculate the content of peptide-bound AA in feed ingredients. Except for fish meal which contains 1.4% free amino acids (g/100 g sample), total free amino acids account for less than 1% of total amino acids in other ingredients.
