The straight broken line: y = 0.7942 - 0.1933 × (2.4336 - x) + LVAR (r2 = 0.76, adjusted r2 = 0.63). Parameter LVAR represents the block effect and produces different lines for the respective blocks. The optimum SID-Lys:ME ratio was 2.43 in 54 to 76 kg pig.
