The role of DNA methylation in the development of disease in poultry. a MeDIP-seq analysis was used to identify DMRs and RNA-seq analysis was used to identify DEGs in ALV-J positive and negative chicken samples, suggested that TGFB2 may be an indicator for identifying ALV-J infection. b SE inoculation can promote DNA methylation in chicken cecum and cause methylation changes of immune and metabolism-related genes. Wnt signaling pathways, miRNAs and HOX gene families may play key roles in the regulation of SE methylation in chicken inoculation
